Carol is a passionate traveler dedicated to helping first-time adventurers embrace the world with confidence. Her love for travel began when her and her husband ran a motorsports art business, taking them to incredible destinations both in the U.S. and abroad. That experience ignited a lifelong desire to explore the hidden gems of the world—the small towns, the off-the-beaten-path festivals, and the warm, welcoming locals eager to share their culture.
Over the years, friends and family have turned to her for advice on planning their journeys, and she quickly realized how many people long to travel but feel unsure where to start. That’s why Carol created this travel mentoring service—to guide you through the process, eliminate the stress, and empower you to embrace the beauty of authentic travel.
Carol’s personal travel has taken her to Mexico, the UK, Canada, the Bahamas, Hawaii, and much of Europe, including Italy, Ireland, Germany, Greece, France, Switzerland, Portugal, and Spain. My firsthand knowledge and experience allow me to craft journeys that are not only well-researched but deeply personal.

Last year, when we decided to travel to Italy for a fall vacation, some friends recommended Carol as a planning resource. We are seasoned travelers, but never having been to Italy, sought some assistance in developing a workable itinerary for the two weeks we planned to be there. We contacted Carol and set up an appointment to meet in person to discuss our needs. At this meeting, she really listened to what we desired as trip outcomes and asked a number of pertinent questions to further define our needs. She took this information and within just a few days, returned to us a completed 14 day itinerary including travel, accommodation and dining options, but most importantly to us, a list of places to go and things to do in each of the three areas of Italy we chose to visit. In all of this, she was professional, attentive and extremely easy to work with. From her itinerary, we were able to finalize our plans for this trip and book everything immediately. The trip was last October and things could not have gone smoother. We made the most of sightseeing in each area, but also worked in some time for doing local things off the tourist path which was important to us and one of the things Carol homed in on. In summary, we would highly recommend Carol for your travel planning and most assuredly will contact her again for same as the need arises.

When my husband and I decided we wanted to visit Portugal, we very quickly became overwhelmed with all the decisions! We enlisted the help of Carol Murray to help guide us through the planning. When we initially met, she asked us many questions to help determine what type of vacation we wanted – one with lots of history, culture, fine dining, etc. or one with a more relaxed feel, with time for sitting in sidewalk cafes, lounging near beautiful rivers, and down time. She also asked our preferences for lodging – larger hotels in the center of the action, boutique hotels, Airbnb’s or quiet out of the way inns. Did we want to experience the trip through small tours, guided excursions or on our own? She really helped us tailor our trip to our wishes. As we began to shape our trip, Carol assisted by suggesting several highly rated Airbnb’s, excellent, reputable tour companies for day trips, river tours, and wine tastings. She even helped us secure tickets to the opera in Lisboa! She advised us on whether/when we should take trains or local transportation, where/how to purchase tickets, how to communicate with the locals and much more! As preparations moved forward, Carol provided a tentative itinerary which she amended as the trip evolved. When we left for our trip we felt totally prepared with all the information we needed. She also even advised us on how best to pack for our trip! With the help of Carol’s experience as a world traveler, her guidance and suggestions, our trip was absolutely magnificent! She is a pleasure to work with and we would overwhelmingly recommend her to anyone needing travel planning assistance.
